The State Universities Retirement System of Illinois (SURS) requests proposals from private law firms to provide legal advice on various legal matters including but not limited to investments, benefits issues and administrative law and procedure and tax related issues for the SURS Board of Trustees and the System.
The Illinois General Assembly, on July 6, successfully voted to override the governor’s veto and passed a FY 18 budget that includes an optional hybrid pension plan for SURS, SERS and TRS.
SURS is seeking proposals from qualified candidates to provide SIP trunking for its cloud based Unified Communications System. The proposed trunks will replace currently installed ISDN PRI and T1 trunk circuits. The qualified candidate will provide 100Mbps fiber transport entering the facility via a path not currently utilized.
